After arriving in Holly Heights, Hong Kong set England on a crazy path of England x the Landlord otpness from some of the other people in the place... It's been an ongoing joke since but honestly, England brushed it all aside for the fact that Hong Kong called him Dad. Anyone that knows him knows that family is his weakness, especially when it's for things like this. He's kind of sucked at getting to know Hong Kong properly in the past, and he won't deny that. Plus, the handover is a fucking awkward topic and it's not really entirely that he wanted to give him back anyway.
Actually, that incident only came into being because China was a dick about it too (let's keep going bias bias bias. Either way, he's still trying to get to know him and spoil him while he can here.

The funny thing about Vietnam is that back home he's supported her financially for around 40 years. On top of that, they have a declared special relationship as of her last birthday and it's partly why he's been willing to become good friends with her here. Really, the only started hanging out because he was Taiwan's spouse when he arrived, and then when she left along with some other Hetalia people, it made sense to stick together.
That, and she understands his pain re: France.
In other news they have a lot of not!dates that actually seem more like dates, though neither are actually working towards that kind of goal anyway. Though he would a+ tap dat if he could (but any guy with eyes would probably want to let's be real here). All things considered, however, he does think of her as a good friend. He's glad they've managed to get even closer here, too, it's nice.

Also known as "The most complicated relationship to ever be complicated". Spanning over 1000 years of fights, sex and trauma or something like that, they still don't actually 100% know how to get along properly and can resort to fights over the dumbest of things. Case and point, bar fights. Case and points, yelling at Honeybee before going for a quick make out. Though in England's defense, the last one was mildly influenced by the Landlord's idea to give him the rose bottle and France the star bottle. Either way, things have gone on for too long that it's difficult to break that path too. There's so much history there.
At the same time, they are really Not Good for each other. The toxic kind of not good that's a bad habit you can't let go of, but at the same time if either properly tried to, we have the "shared fate" problem that may even cripple them both. Thank you, history. Thank you, everything. Either way, he's starting to try to change his ways so that France can try and get some sort of happiness here? and that says a lot for him.

Speaking of complicated relationships... guess what became a bit more complicated lately. England was fine with what happened (...banging) until Japan made a post on the network that seemed like it was about an admirer, only to find out it was about the time they spent together. Now he's a little uncertain of if Japan thought it meant more than it did, which sucks because he really considers him a dear friend.
A dear friend that he doesn't want to lose, that is. He means a lot to him, so this is throwing him for a loop so he kind of wants to try and talk this out soon, but at the same time... ha... ha... It's so awkward?!

As much as Wy may hate him for it, he actually feels responsible for her here in Holly Heights. She's Australia's child, which in turn means she's like a granddaughter to him. Really, as much as he tries to refuse her ridiculous demands at times, he does spoil her, especially with sweets and cakes. He also needs to take her to the zoo and let's her visit to see Lil Tsun Hop and Supun-chan (even though she's Makoto's) whenever she wants.
She has to behave well though to stay longer for extra petting. Though the rabbit is definitely fond of her anyway. He admits he needs to keep a better eye on her though, too.

He doesn't really talk to Austria as much as he feels he should, being European homies and all, but he'd like to now they both have musical businesses going on. Austria seems like an upstanding gentleman too, despite being not quite as upstanding as he'd like the world to believe, so there's that too. At least that's kept behind closed doors, mind you, and Someone remains mostly oblivious.
While he may have left him standing on his own in the past (ahaha i only wanted to kick France's ass, bye sucker!!!) he actually has little opinion either way on the other, but he'd be willing for that to change.

England and Iceland don't exactly see eye to eye, though that's mostly because Iceland screams at him a lot. They argue and bicker a lot, and that means he can't really get to know him, though he wouldn't mind trying. One day, maybe. I mean Hong Kong is making the effort, isn't he?

Where do I start other than with "England 2.0". It's funny how at first England side eyed Rin because he seemed like a thug and a bad influence on Makoto, yet, over time and getting to know him he's found that they have a lot of similarities. It's pretty fun to tease him, to talk to him, and now... 4 months later, Rin is forming a special place in his heart. He's like a son to England, even if it's embarrassing and they have the worst luck.
That and Rin keeps insulting him. Sigh. Though, he would quite frankly do anything to ensure his happiness in Holly Heights, they are stuck there afterall, and while he can't bring his family here -- he can become something close enough to family by being there for him.

Makoto was the first of his two sons that he met after arriving, though it was still a little late. That was mostly thanks to Taiwan being a scary spouse though... Either way, he's shared his music collection with Makoto, started to give him driving lessons, guitar lessons and maybe in some way lessons about life as well. Makoto really doesn't see him as a parent, but that's okay, family is important to England and even the connection as a brother would make him happy (though using the term brother would Traumatise him) and thus he would happily take whatever Makoto is willing to give.
Besides, his own feelings on the matter shift between son/brother on a day to day basis, though considering he's overly aware of the age difference, it's easier to see him as a son.

Honestly compared to Makoto, Haruka is a little more absent in his life and that's something he wishes he could change... sadly he can't compare to water. Still, he makes sure there's dinner for Haruka and would try to talk to him daily. He makes sure he has enough stuff, and also was willing to teach him to drive/play guitar too.

It's almost ironic that the first teenage girl he considers to be a "daughter" to him is actually Vietnam's assigned daughter, but that's another story for another day. Kururu is intelligent, tries hard in classes and is willing to challenge him when he lets bias slip into his job. She likes music, plays it and is willing to learn more. For her birthday, he gifted her a classical guitar with birds engraved into the wood as a special gift for her--because she's special to him.
It's not entirely sunflowers and daisies, mind you, as he still feels bad that she caught him licking France's face during the valentine's event week, and that's something he wouldn't wish on anyone. Ah.

What a kawaii. It's the first thing anyone thinks when looking at this girl, let's be honest here, and that was certainly the case. Kobato's a little slow when it comes to classes, but her heart is increibly warm. Despite him being a dick sometimes, and despite her silliness and obliviousness, he cares for her. Though he does wish she wouldn't encourage slinky bee costumes at work--it's too much.
